Role and functions

 

The CCSS Centre (which is also referred as CCSS Agent) will manage and operate the mediation scheme. It will act as an interface between the customers and participating service providers (CCSS Members) for accepted cases referred by OFCA.

 

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CAHK and OFCA for the funding arrangement of the CCSS Agent.

Structure

 

The CCSS Agent comprises of the following entities:

 

Governing Committee


The Governing Committee is responsible for governing the management of financing, appointment of members, employment of mediators and supporting staff, handling of complaints against the Operating Team and other operational aspects of the CCSS Agent.

 

The existing Governing Committee comprises of the following Committee members :

  • Mr. Alex Tam (Chairman) – Executive Committee Member of CAHK
  • Mr. Vincent Kwok – Executive Committee Member of CAHK
  • Mr. Alex Wong – Executive Committee Member of CAHK

 

Operating Team

 

The Operating Team includes mediators who conduct mediation and supporting staff who provide supporting services as required under the CCSS.  The Operating Team is headed by the Executive.
